Job Summary:

The Junior Billing Executive is responsible for assisting in managing billing operations and ensuring accuracy in claim submissions, payment postings, and denials management. This entry-level role involves learning medical billing processes and providing support to the billing team.

Qualifications:

v  At least bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred).

v  Familiarity with basic medical billing software or willingness to learn.

v  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

v  Assist in preparing, reviewing, and submitting medical claims to insurance companies.

v  Post payments and reconcile patient accounts under guidance.

v  Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.

v  Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement.

v  Learn and comply with industry standards, including HIPAA regulations.

v  Support the billing team in addressing inquiries from patients and insurance companies.
