Job Overview:

We are hiring experienced Workers’ Compensation Collectors / AR Negotiators who specialize in maximizing recoveries and negotiating medical bills and liens with insurance carriers and defense counsels. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the California Workers’ Compensation system and strong expertise in EDI billing platforms.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in bill review, dispute resolution, objections, and negotiation, with the ability to manage complex WC litigation-related collections efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate medical bills and liens with insurance carriers and defense attorneys

• Handle EOR/EOB reviews, objections, reconsiderations, and QME-related collections

• Prepare and submit demand letters and dispute responses

• Ensure accurate billing and compliance with Workers’ Compensation timelines

• Collaborate with internal teams to maximize claim recoveries

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation collections and litigation

• Proficiency in DaisyBill, Conexem, and other EDI billing platforms

• Strong understanding of California Workers’ Compensation system, including UR/IMR and dispute timelines

• Excellent written communication skills for professional correspondence

• Strong negotiation skills when dealing with adjusters and defense counsel
